Listen for the bird in the background singing a song that sounds like "I-want-to-rent-a-vi-de-o." This is the sweet cheerful tone of the Hooded Warbler. A Spring migrating bird that wears a black hood over a bright yellow body. They spend their time in deep woods. I like to listen for them close to my woodland home and watch them take baths in our hand dug spring.
They remind me that not all is bad in this world, that good things to return even in the middle of hardship and frustration.
